Increasing form submission rates greatly improves engagement with parents.
By providing a webview link to forms, all parents and carers can fill in and submit forms via their web browser, on any device.
Webview forms are useful because they:
Give parents increased accessibility to forms
Can be accessed and filled in on any device
Increase the overall number of form submissions.
How webview forms work:
When a new post is published, an email notification is sent out to users.
If the post has a form attached to it, the email notification sent out to users will have a clickable link that allows the user to view the post's form on any web browser.
In other words, when you publish a new post from your Audiri admin console, your community will be notified via an email that contains a link to the webview form.
In the email notification, the form link will appear in a placeholder, and by clicking that link, the user will be able to access the webview form directly on their web browser, regardless of the device they are using.
Steps to create a Post with a link to a webview form
From the home screen, navigate to Posts on the main menu.
Select Create post
Complete all the fields to create your post. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on form and then select a pre-made form and attach it to your post (click here to see “How to Create a Form”)
Once the form is attached and your post is complete, click Publish to make the post live.
In the next pop-up it is important to select email as a notification option.
Once the post is published, the notification email will be sent to parents who can then click on the form link that has been placed in the email body.
The parent will then be directed to the forms webview.
Mandatory field addition in webview forms
When a user is logged into the Audiri app, they are able to fill in forms with no need to add their name and contact details as the app sends these details when the form is submitted.
However, when using forms in webview, there is no identifying information.
To make sure you know who has submitted the form, we have added mandatory Respondent details fields to the form in order to capture the sender’s name and email address.
