Users can publish a post directly from the Audiri app.
This means you can share information with your community that is timely and relevant.
You can publish posts on the go, for instance, while at a school camp, when attending a footy match or from inside the classroom.
Just like notifications of posts created on the web console, notifications for posts created in the app can be sent to your community as an email, as a push notification, or both.
In order to publish a post directly from the Audiri app, follow the steps below:
Step 1
Open your Audiri app on your mobile device.
The app will open on the newsfeed page.
At the bottom of the screen, there will be an orange circle with a pencil icon.
Click on this circle to open the Create Post page.
Step 2
If you are an admin for more than one school, you will need to select your school.
Continue to fill in the fields that follow.
You will be asked to select a category or group to which you wish to send the post.
This is where you can select an All users group or any other group.
Give your post a title.
Now create the copy for your post.
Step 3
Scroll down to the toggle switch and choose whether you'd like to receive replies to your post notifications.
If you slide the switch to the right, indicating that you would like to receive responses to your post notifications, you will be asked to enter the receiving email address.
This will be automatically populated with the address with which you logged into the app, however, it can be changed manually.
Now select whether you'd like to include an image gallery.
If you chose to include an image gallery by sliding the switch to the right, a button will appear that allows you to add one or more images to the post.
Lastly, use the switch to select whether you'd like the post notifications to be sent to your community via push notification.
The notifications for the post will automatically be sent to users via email.
Selecting to send notifications by push notification will be additional to the email notifications.
Step 4
Click on send post to send the notifications to your community.
