- The Users page on the Audiri web console contains a list of user (parent) information associated with a school.
- A school administrator is able to upload users individually by navigating to the Users page and following the instructions as detailed in the How to Add a User or Users article.
- Admins can also export user lists in bulk from the Users page, instead of one by one.
- Once the user list has been downloaded as a CSV file, the admin can use it to upload the entire list to a new group at once, rather than by uploading each user to the group one by one.
Use case: An example of how this can be useful is at the beginning of a new school year. The admin can select the list of the previous year's Grade One parents, create a new group called Grade Two and then upload the whole list to the new group.
How it works
- Click on the All Features menu item on the left-hand side of the web console.
- This opens the All Features page.
- Click on the Users card to open the Users page.
- A list of all the users you have previously saved will be shown on the Users page.
- Select the users that you would like to export. - This can be done by scrolling through the list and clicking the box on the left of the names you wish to export, one by one.
- You can also filter users by groups, using the filter by group bar at the top of the screen. - Once the list of filtered users is shown, click on the box to the left of each name to select that user.

- Another way you can find users is by using the search by name or email box at the top of the screen.

- Once you've selected the list of users you'd like to export as a CSV file, click on the Export button at the top of the screen.
- A temporary pop-up message will appear on the bottom right of the web console to let you know that the download file is being prepared.
Tip: you can download multiple user lists concurrently. Also, while the downloads are preparing, you can navigate to other pages within the web console and execute other tasks.
*Important!* If you try to refresh your browser or navigate away from the admin console using your browser buttons, the in-progress downloads will be lost.
- An orange tick mark will be displayed in the pop-up message to indicate the file preparation is complete.
- The file will download automatically soon after.
Tip: Based on the browser settings, some browsers will request to confirm the download location, and other browsers will automatically download the file into the default download location.
