Save time by making a copy from a previous post.

Updated over a year ago

You may wish to use a particular post as a template for other posts. You can do this by duplicating the existing post.

  • The Duplicate function can be used to copy previous posts, both deleted (archived) or currently published posts.

Follow the steps below to learn how to duplicate a post:

Stp 1

  • Navigate to the Posts page by clicking on the Posts tab on menu on the left-hand side of your screen.

  • The Posts page will display a list of posts that already exist.

  • Click on the name of the post you would like to duplicate.

Step 2

  • When you click on the name of the post, you will be taken to edit post page.

  • Click on the Duplicate button on the top right-hand side of the screen to make a copy of the post.

  • You will now be in the editing area of the duplicated (copied) post.

  • The title of the copied post will have the words 'Copy of' in the title. Don't forget to delete this when you fill in the new post details.

Step 3

  • Edit the post as required and then either save it as a draft for later or publish it once you're ready.

Note: The system will make a copy of the latest saved version of the post. Please click Duplicate post prior to making any changes to the archived or published post.
